The Forget-me-not is a little wildflower often used in symbolism. It blooms heavily everywhere in Québec during the month of May. There is a legend about a knight who, walking with his lady, fell into a pond while plucking this small flower. Before drowning, he tossed it at his lover, asking her “forget me not”. In many languages, this tale gave this flower its name. The Forget-me-not has a strong romantic symbolism and is also the logo of the Alzheimer Society, for its link to memory. It is the centrepiece of this very simple collection.
